New News! – 17 May 2011

I’m plugging away at Adventure School and (very-tentatively) working on a shorter piece (a few chapters max) called 599 about two brothers who run a restaurant together. After that? Who knows what.

IN ADDITION: I’ll also be restarting the 1,000 words feature shortly.

Also: I’ve decided to add a little thing at the end of every post to quickly shout out whatever I’m reading or playing or watching at the moment. Since a lot of my influences come from books, movies, tv, and games — I figure it wouldn’t be too out of line to reference them once in a while.

Currently Reading: Kill the Dead: A Sandman Slim Novel by Richard Kadrey

I just finished The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch (which I highly recommend for anyone who digs competent fantasy lit.)

And finally:

I saw this picture* over at Male Pouch and instantly fell in love with this creature. If only I could pledge my undying love. Alas, it is not to be…
